How do I connect my Etsy shop to Printify?

In Printify, open the store drop-down menu and select Manage my stores. Click Connect, choose Etsy, then sign in to your Etsy account (via email/password, Google, Facebook, or Apple). Finally, click Grant access to authorise Printify. Once connected, you can publish products and manage orders directly from Printify.

Does my Etsy shop need to be fully set up before connecting to Printify?

Yes. Your Etsy shop must be fully activated and live — not in Vacation Mode — before you can connect it to Printify or publish products. Complete all of Etsy's onboarding steps first, including adding a payment method and billing information.

Why can't I publish my products to Etsy?

The most common reason is that your Etsy store has not been fully activated. Your store must be live and accessible to the public. If you're still unable to publish after activating, check that your Etsy store is not in Vacation Mode and that your Printify–Etsy connection token is still valid (changing your Etsy password will expire it and require you to reconnect).

Can an Etsy shop be connected to more than one Printify account?

No. An Etsy store can only be connected to one Printify account at a time. If you receive an error stating your store is already connected, check all Printify accounts you've used and disconnect the store from the other account before linking it to your current one.

Why am I seeing a shipping profile error in Etsy?

This usually occurs when specific shipping data hasn't synced correctly. To fix it, edit the affected shipping profile in Etsy and fill in the missing fields: set the Origin zip code to 19801 (Printify's zip code), set Delivery time to 2–5 business days, ensure Country of origin is United States, and set Shipping carrier to Other. Save the changes and you're done.

What shipping options are available for my Etsy store through Printify?

Printify supports standard, Economy, and Express shipping options for eligible Etsy listings. Shipping rates are automatically assigned to your products when you connect your Etsy store. If you use a currency other than USD for your Etsy store, you'll need to adjust shipping rates manually within your Etsy account.

What is Economy Shipping for Etsy and how much does it cost?

Economy Shipping is a cost-effective fulfilment option available for eligible Etsy listings. It starts at USD 3.99 and delivers across the United States in approximately 4–8 business days with full order tracking. It's designed to help merchants attract price-conscious buyers while maintaining healthy profit margins.

Can I offer Express Delivery for Etsy orders?

Yes. Express Delivery is available for eligible products — such as Bella+Canvas 3001 and Gildan 5000 T-shirts — sold through the Etsy integration. It covers US addresses, excluding Alaska and Hawaii, and PO box addresses are not supported. Orders submitted for Express Delivery go into production immediately, so cancellations are unlikely once placed.

What happens if an Etsy order is placed 'On Hold' due to shipping restrictions?

Printify will notify you by email and with an alert in your account. Depending on the restriction, your options include: submitting the order anyway if a shipping delay is acceptable, editing the order or switching the Print Provider, contacting the customer for an alternative delivery address, or cancelling and refunding the order. You are not charged for orders that remain On Hold.

Are Printify products automatically published to Etsy Pattern sites?

No. Printify products published to your Etsy shop are not automatically published to your Etsy Pattern site. To make a product appear on Pattern, edit each product individually within Etsy and tick the Pattern box under Channel settings.
